Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in Ravenswood on Sunday.
A WA Police spokeswoman said a black 2001 model Harley Davidson motorcycle struck a stationary silver Mazda 2 hatch, before colliding with an oncoming silver 2013 model Harley Davidson motorcycle, about 5.15pm.
The crash happened at the intersection of Old Mandurah Road and Lazenby Avenue.
The rider of the black Harley Davidson, a 48-year-old man, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The rider of the silver Harley Davidson, a 47-year-old man, received serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
The driver of the Mazda was not injured.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw, or has dashcam vision of the motorcycles or the Mazda 2 hatch in the area prior to the crash.
