Peel Thunderbirds product Sabreena Duffy has had her excellent rookie season at Fremantle rewarded with a nomination for the AFL Women's all-Australian side.
The Dockers prodigy was named to the initial 40-player squad on Thursday, which will be trimmed down to a final team of 21 including captain and vice captain at the W Awards on Tuesday, April 2.
Duffy is one of six Dockers to be named to the squad, with her selection following a superb first year at the elite level.
The gun midfielder/forward has been electrifying on the field, and has been a key part of the side's best ever season.
The Dockers locked in their first ever finals campaign with a win over North Melbourne on the weekend, in which the young gun booted two goals before coming off with an ankle injury during the third quarter.
She is expected to play in the preliminary final against Carlton this weekend.
The only club topping Fremantle's six selections to the initial squad was league-leaders Adelaide, who had nine named to the side.
North Melbourne followed closely with five of their own.
