A Halls Head man is Western Australia's latest millionaire.
The man in his fifties, who works in the mental health sector, won a total $1,279,122.
"The funny thing is the other week I checked my ticket and got excited when the bell went off, but then I felt annoyed because I only won a small amount," he said.
"Turns out when the bell didn't go off this time, it meant I had won a lot more."
The man purchased his ticket from Halls Head Newsagency.
He and his wife will take their time deciding what to do with the winnings.
Western Australia has a chance to add another millionaire to its ranks, with Tuesday's $50 million OZ Lotto jackpot the biggest prize the game has offered since July 2018.
The last OZ Lotto jackpot to be claimed in WA was in October 2018, when a syndicate of 22 people from Albany won $10 million.
Meanwhile, the search for a Division One winner from Success continues, with the ticket worth $672,193 from the February 23 draw, still at large. The ticket was sold from Gateways News & Lottery Centre.
Tickets for the $50 million OZ Lotto jackpot are available until 6pm tonight from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
