An "under the sea" inspired children's dress-up costume competition filled the this year's Crab Fest Children's Stage with bright smiles and vivid colours.
On Saturday, creative children aged 13 and under displayed garments that depicted anything from mermaids and pirates to fish and crabs.
This year's competition, supported by Mandurah Forum, saw a number 14 participates flaunt their creativity and originality, while showing off plenty of personality on stage.

Siblings Jasmine and Liam won the event for their cooked and raw crab costumes. The duo took home a $200 voucher for Mandurah Forum.
Second place was a shell called Angela who won $100 and followed by an octopus named Abby, who will take home $60.
The competition was judged by City of Mandurah councillors Ron Wotley, Tahlia Jones and Merv Darcy.
