Mandurah Detectives are looking for a driver who reversed into a police motorcycle before driving off, on Friday morning in Golden Bay.
A police spokesman alleged an officer stopped a dark blue Subaru at the Mandurah Road and Dampier Road intersection about 5.40am.
"The officer was walking over to the stopped car when it reversed into the motorcycle and accelerated off," he said.
He said the officer was not injured in the incident.
The Subaru was located a short time later abandoned in a car park off Warnbro Sound Avenue in Port Kennedy.
Mandurah Detective Senior Sergeant Trevor Troy said police were speaking with a man in relation to the incident about 8.20am.
Anyone who saw the Subaru this morning or who has information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
