A 28-year-old Pinjarra man has been charged after failing to stop for a random breath test on Sunday night.
WA Police allege officers attempted to stop the man who was driving a Land Rover about 11pm on Pinjarra Road, before he accelerated away.
Pinjarra Police did not attempt to stop the vehicle, allegedly driving dangerously on and off road, for safety reasons.
The car was found at a nearby residence and the driver was taken into custody.
Police said the driver was on a return to prison warrant and had no licence.
The man was charged with reckless driving, possessing methylamphetamine, failing to stop and having no authority to drive.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday, March 11, 2019.
