The stage is set and Brighton Hotel are ready for their biggest party yet.
After being bought by Mandurah family the Beard-Millers in March last year, the new and improved Brighton is preparing to host its first birthday as a locally owned and operated venue.
And they are not holding back with their celebrations, bringing in DJs and music producer prodigies Boston Switch and Ash Pluggy to spin the decks on March 9.
Brighton Hotel events and functions manager Chantelle Smith-Greenwood said there had been some big changes in the last 12 months.
"We changed pretty much all of our suppliers and we try our hardest to keep everything as local as possible now," she said.
"We try to keep it as personal as possible - the family are always here and they interact with the customers and everyone knows their faces which is really good
"We're building strong bonds with the community and just trying to make everything a bit better than what it was."
Ms Smith-Greenwood said, as part of the new face of the venue, Brighton were trying to "get the younger people out for a good time" with creative new events.
"We're trying to bring back a bit more of the local music scene and improve entertainment," she said.
"We're trying to source as many different acts as possible that appeal to the younger generation, a younger crowd.
"We're really big on giving back to the community, we want to keep business in Mandurah."
With a recently renovated stage and DJ booth to put to good use, the event will not only celebrate the milestone, but also double as a launch party for Boston Switch and Ash Pluggy's latest single 'More Like Her'.

The face behind Boston Switch, Margaret River lad Blake McDonald, said the duo were keen to play their fifth single live for the first time in Mandurah.
"This single is another kind of future trapp song we've written and we're really stoked with it," McDonald said.
"We worked with a vocalist in LA and it's pretty sad and emotional lyrics but it's going to be a lot of fun to play on stage, it's got a lot of drive and punch to it.
"We're excited but also scared because, especially when people haven't heard a song before, the reactions are never what you expect."
After starting his DJ career in 2010, McDonald teamed up with best mate and music producer Ashley Plug, also known as Ash Pluggy, about four years ago and have already dropped four hit songs on independent release.
The duo have held residencies all around the world including Greece where they first started gigging together.
McDonald said the pair have a lot of fun on stage together, and Mandurah audiences shouldn't expect anything less than an epic party.
"Every time we go to Mandurah, all the young kids make us do a shoey," he said.
"Last time I was there I had a brand new pair of Timberland's and they were the nicest shoes - I got them for my sister's wedding and they were so nice to wear out.
"So this time I am purposely wearing older shoes because I have a feeling that's going to happen."
Crowds will even be treated to a special guest appearance from drummer Sean Tighe who has recently finished touring the world with his band The Faim.

McDonald said it was all part of their quest to implement live instruments into their shows for an edge.
"Sean's going to pop his head in and do a few cameos for our originals and some live drumming," he said.
"He's a really fresh energy and he's so talented, it's crazy.
"Mandurah will only be the third show he's ever played with us so it's really exciting."
