Three Mandurah fire and rescue crews were called to Pinjarra on Thursday morning to extinguish a blaze at a McLarty Road home.
Just after 11am, smoke was seen billowing from the roof of the single-story structure.
The owner of the property met with firefighters when they arrived on scene. By the time crews arrived the blaze had already been put out.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, however, authorities understand the incident only caused $50 damage.
The structure fire comes less than 24 hours after a bushfire warning was issued for the town roughly 20 kilometres east of Mandurah.
On Wednesday evening, more than 50 firefighters battled two bushfires in the Shire of Murray.
After several hours, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services managed to control the blaze and issued an all clear for residents and motorists.
