Peel Hockey will be hoping to uncover some future stars when they host their Come and Try Day this coming weekend.
On the hunt for more players to join their ranks, the association's showcase day will be open to both junior and senior players looking to take part in their upcoming winter season.
Local clubs participating under the Peel Hockey banner will be on hand to provide information, while those without their own gear will be catered for.
The winter competition's cater to those of all ages, with the youngest age brackets open to kindergarten students ranging all the way through to seniors.
Their Hookin2 Hockey program aims to teach youngsters the basics of the game, while all games are played locally on the turfs at The Sporting Globe Stadium adjacent to the Halls Head Recreation Centre.
The Come and Try Day will be held at the stadium this Saturday, February 23 from 4pm to 6pm.
