The South West Craft Beer Festival was back and bigger than ever before, making itself at home in the heart of Busselton.
Thousands of people attended the sellout festival which kicked off at Signal Park on Saturday with a record number of craft breweries and cideries from around the South West on offer.
With no shortage of punters, festival goers were treated to a wide range of ales, pales, ciders and wine from some of the region’s best brewers and winemakers.
More than 130 brews from 25 craft breweries and cideries were available at the festival, including an eclectic selection of special and new release brews showcased at a one off tasting bar.
Some of the brewers had also partnered up with local producers and restaurants from around the South West to deliver yummy bites of food that matched their brews to perfection.
Wild Hop brewery made their beer debut at the festival ahead of their official opening today, the brewery, located on Wildwood Road, will be licensed for up to 150 people with a full kitchen and playground.
Wild Hop brewers Matthew Scott-Malcolm and Andrew Caldwell’s combined skills tap into both the local craft beer community and the forefront of flavours and styles trending globally.
