The Secret Harbour foreshore was jam-packed with athletes on Saturday morning, for the second round of the Western Australian Surf Rowers League’s navy boat series.
Hosted by Secret Harbour Surf Lifesaving Club, the competition saw men and woman race around a short course in large surf boats.

Several surf clubs bought teams to compete across the six divisions that were on offer.
The competition was refereed by Doug Simpson with the help of several volunteers from various clubs.
