The Peel Zoo are offering one lucky child and four of their closest friends a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be zookeepers for the day, for free.
The opportunity, normally worth $165 per child, is open to children aged 6-16 years old.
The lucky winners will step into the shoes of a professional zookeeper, learning all about animal husbandry, feeding, animal handling and captive breeding.
There will be plenty of chances to get up close and personal with Tasmanian Devils, koalas, quolls and many more cute and furry critters at the zoo.
Not for the faint-hearted, winners might have the chance to get hands on with some slippery and slithery creatures too.
The experience allows children a greater insight into and appreciation for the world and all its’ inhabitants.
Junior zookeepers will also receive a cool T-shirt, cap, certificate, lunch and of course, unique memories to last a lifetime.
The giveaway is being hosted on Facebook and those who wish to enter their children simply have to follow the instructions on the Peel Zoo Facebook page.
The competition closes at midnight on Sunday, February 10.
