In 1959, Billy Graham launched a tour of evangelistic events across Australia that had a significant spiritual impact on thousands of people. There would be many local residents who still remember the tour and the powerful impact it had on their lives.
This year will be the 60th anniversary of Graham’s historic 1959 visit, and on February 9, his son, Franklin Graham, will bring an all-new Graham Tour to Perth. Several churches from across the Mandurah area have been working together to secure an opportunity to have this historic event live streamed locally so residents don’t have to make the trip into to the Perth RAC Arena.
Late last year, after discussing the logistics about getting people to the event in Perth, we thought we would bring the tour to Mandurah. We discussed this with the Billy Graham crew, and now the pipe dream has become a reality. We’re really excited to have this wonderful opportunity available for the local community and surrounding areas.

Perth will be the launching pad for the whole tour across Australia, and on February 9 the live event will be streamed at the Mandurah Peel Convention Centre – which is the old Australian Sailing Museum at 22 Ormsby Terrace, Mandurah. It is a 7pm start and the theatre seats 500, so come early for a good seat.
“We will share the same life-changing message of hope my father preached in Australia 60 years ago,” Franklin Graham said.
“I’ve had the opportunity to preach in many locations across this incredibly beautiful nation. I’m looking forward to returning to share with the people of Australia that God loves them.”
Along with a personal message of hope from Franklin Graham, this family-friendly event will feature performances by Grammy-nominated artist Crowder, Planetshakers, Steve Grace, and Dennis Agajanian. It is free of charge, and everyone is welcome.
The Graham Tour will take place on Saturday from 7pm at Mandurah Peel Convention Centre.
