Mandurah District police have asked the community to drive safe all year round after only one person out of more than 3000 tested positive to alcohol during the long weekend traffic operation.
The double demerit road operation ran from midnight on Thursday to midnight Monday, January 28, stopping cars within the district.
Pinjarra Police Senior Sergeant Ian Francis said one red P-plater was charged with drink driving, 18 traffic cautions were issued and two speeding fines.
