The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions’ (DBCA) Parks and Wildlife Service has closed Serpentine National Park until Monday, January 28 due to a severe fire danger rating.
The closure was issued at 1.30pm on January 27 due to fire danger advice broadcast by the Bureau of Meteorology.
Locals and people travelling through the region are advised to avoid the area, follow any directions by DPaW staff and observe signage.
Those already in the area should leave for a safer place.
