A 34-year-old South Bunbury man has died following a crash in Uduc, near Harvey, this morning.
According to South West Police, the driver was travelling east on Forestry Road around 5.45am.
Just before Thornton Road, the man lost control before his vehicle – a red 1990 Holden Commodore sedan –collided with a tree.
The man died at the scene as a result of his injuries. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
St John Ambulance and Department of Fire and Emergency Services crews were called to the scene shortly after the crash.
Forestry Road was blocked off throughout the morning and re-opened shortly before noon.
Harvey Police Office In Charge Sergeant Scott Gillis urged road users to exercise caution at all times.
“Drive safely, make sure you get to your destination safely,” he said.
“Pay attention and don’t get distracted.”
Major Crash personnel will continue their investigation into the incident.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle in the area prior to the incident.
People who may have dashcam footage of the vehicle prior to the crash have been urged to contact police.
