A 23-year-old Madora Bay man has appeared in court accused of stabbing a security guard in the shoulder at Lakelands Shopping Centre.
Joshua Michael Pym has not entered pleas to being armed in a way that may cause fear, assault, threatening to kill and endangering the health or safety of a person with intent to harm.
Police allege the occurred about 5pm on Sunday, January 20.
Police had said the man threatened a store manager and security guard with a bladed weapon before he struck the security guard in the shoulder, causing a minor laceration.
Mr Pym is due to reappear before the Perth Magistrates Court on February 20.
