Coming from a family that absolutely loves fishing, Tackle World Miami owners Ashley and Julie Ramm are passionate about sharing their experiences and helping others to enjoy angling and other outdoor adventures.
Since they began running the business in April 2015, they have gained a reputation for their knowledge and friendly service when it comes to fishing, diving, boating, camping, outdoor clothing, SCUBA tank refills, rod and reel repairs, knife sharpening, custom made rigs, rope splicing and much more.
The team at Tackle World Miami use the products and services they sell.
Their staff are happy to share their knowledge with beginners right through to the ‘serious fisho’ or outdoor enthusiast, providing the ultimate shopping experience through local advice, local knowledge and competitive prices.
“We give our customers what online buying can’t – customer service. We care about making sure you get what you want or need, and that you know how to get the most out of your purchase,” Ashley and Julie said.

“Within a stone’s throw, we have an estuary, the Dawesville Cut and the ocean.
"You can four-wheel-drive on the beaches south of us and the majority of people in our community look after it. Mandurah’s expansive waterways and outdoor living are unique.”
Popular products and activities at the moment included Yellowfin whiting on lures, jigging, stick baits and SCUBA and free diving, and locals and those from further afield were encouraged to visit the friendly Tackle World team for any of these or other requirements.
“We fit our customers to products that suit their needs within their budget. The best product is only as good as the knowledge you have to use it.
As a community-minded operation, the team at Tackle World believe ‘if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it’ and make it their mission to promote enjoyment of what is in our own backyard.
They pride themselves on employing a local team of full-time, casual and summer staff and support local businesses and community groups wherever possible.
Every January, Tackle World Miami assists Falcon Lions Club with sponsorship and hands-on help to run a fishing competition for kids which attracts close to 100 children annually.
Tackle World Miami is a key supporter of Murdoch University and Recfishwest for the Peel Reef Vision Project, which involves the collection of data by local recreational fishers using underwater video cameras on the artificial reef.
The business also provides work placement students an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the retail industry and to develop their work readiness skills.
