Port Bouvard Marina has everything for today’s boat owner, including wet and dry pens, a fuel jetty with diesel and premium ULP available 24/7 via credit card or eftpos, pump-out facility, private bathroom facilities and plenty of car parking.
Trailer boat owners are also catered for with a state-of-the-art boat ramp facility with four lanes, and on retrieving there are boat wash-down and engine flushing bays as well as GPS calibration points.
There is a small annual membership, while casual day use is also available (fees apply).
The Marina Village features a boat broker, licensed café/restaurant, fish, chips and takeaways, bait and tackle store with chandlery items, boat repair facilities, dolphin and whale watching tours and fishing charter operations.
The area is renowned for its beautiful canal homes, The Cut international links golf course, and its close proximity to the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary systems, as well as the Indian Ocean.
The Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary systems are home to abundant wildlife, including the blue swimmer crab and western king prawns.
Fish species such as herring, bream, whiting, tailor, cobbler, and many others abound.
It is also a significant base for migratory water birds, including the red-necked stint, bar-tailed godwit, ruddy turnstone, and the curlew sandpiper. You will also see galahs, pelicans, various seabirds and, of course, dolphins.
