A Mandurah man will face as string of charges in court after he allegedly threatened police officers, local residents and pedestrians with a stolen golf club in Lakelands overnight.
It all started when the 27-year-old man allegedly entered a Cawana Parkway garage and stole a golf club about 7.30pm.
It will be alleged the man then attempted to enter the home, however, was confronted by a resident.
The man allegedly threatened the resident before fleeing the scene and taking the golf club with him.

A short time later, a woman who was sitting in her car, which was parked outside a Nullewa Parkway residence, when she was approached by the man armed with a golf club.
It will be alleged the man threatened the woman and demanded he be given the car.
The woman then ran from the car and the man allegedly began smashing its windows with the golf club.
When police arrived on scene and spotted the man, officers were forced to engage in a foot chase with the man.
It will be alleged during the foot chase the man struck another parked vehicle with the golf club, smashing a tail light.
The man allegedly became aggressive towards the officers and moved towards them with the golf club.
Police tasered the man and took him into custody without further incident.
It was established the man had earlier entered the garden of another residence in Cawana Parkway, however, nothing was stolen from that residence.
Rockingham Detectives charged the man with trespassing, aggravated home burglary and commit, stealing, two counts of being armed in a way that may cause fear, attempted armed robbery, two count criminal damage or destruction of property, obstructing public officers and breach of bail undertaking.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on January 21.
