Severe fire danger rating forces closure of Serpentine National Park
A severe fire danger forecast has forced the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions to close the Serpentine National Park on Sunday.
The people have been told to avoid the popular park in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale and follow the advice of Parks and Wildlife Service staff.
The department has urged people already in the area to leave for a safer place and observe signage.
For more information, the public has been encouraged to contact their local Parks and Wildlife Service office, visit www.emergency.wa.gov.au or call 13 3337.
