Authorities in the region have been forced to respond to two separate car fires in a matter of hours on Wednesday.
A fire that broke out while motorists were topping-up their oil near the Mandurah and Paganoni Road intersection about 10am caused more than $15,000 damage.
About 1.10pm, maintenance to the car was being undertaken in a Golden Bay slipway.
The cause of the blaze, which engulfed the whole car, was deemed as accidental by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
