Drivers and passengers involved in a collision at the Aldgate and France Street intersection escaped with minor injuries on Friday afternoon.
About 5pm on December 28, authorities received reports of a two-car crash at the notorious intersection.
It will be alleged, a young woman on her P-plates was travelling east along Algate Street when she failed to stop at the crossroad.
The impact from the P-plater’s silver Opel Insignia caused significant damage to the Ford sedan.

A WA Police spokeswoman confirmed the injuries were minor and said officers at the scene would continue to investigate the incident.
It will be alleged two girls were in the car at the time of the collision.
A nearby resident said he was in his yard when the collision occurred.
He said it had been the third car crash he had seen at the intersection over the past year.
Traffic woes along Aldgate Street have been a long-running issue for residents and have even led one local to sell up.
In December last year, a group of Aldgate residents said enough-was-enough and held a community meeting to discuss how to combat the matter.
At the time, several City of Mandurah representatives talked openly with attendees about potential solutions and bureaucratic processes that would need to be undertaken before long-term action was taken.
Over the past year, the local government has implemented mobile radars to inform drivers of their speed and undertaken various traffic surveys.
