Thousands of spectators and keen punters are expected to hit Pinjarra Park for the annual Boxing Day Race next week.
The highly-anticipated, traditional meeting will feature an action packed day of thoroughbred racing and will be the first of many crowd-drawing race meets at the track this season.
The day will include regular highlights like live music and children’s entertainment, as well as plenty of bars and food options.
Gates will open at 11.30am with the first race set to kick off about 1pm.
Accompanying the Boxing Day bash on the Pinjarra Park calendar is a standalone Saturday meeting on January 7, which will draw the state’s finest thoroughbreds to the track.
The club’s Magic Millions WA Ladies Day will make up the second metro-standard meet on the calendar, the first time Pinjarra has hosted two in one year.
Another headline meet for Pinjarra in 2017 is the ever popular $120,000 Pinjarra Cup, set to be run on April 9.
