WA Police have spent Friday looking for a lost person near Boddington after an early morning distress call – but were unable to locate the person in question.
Police say a call was placed about 7.30am on Friday, December 7, with the person saying they were lost and surrounded by trees in the Crossman area, east of Boddington.
Officers have made attempts to verify the information, with extensive patrols in the area and the use of the police air-wing.
Police are requesting anyone who is aware of a person who they have been unable to contact, who they know to be in the Crossman area, to call 131 444 immediately.
It may be that the person who made the initial call is now safe and if so, police would like to confirm this.
