Mandurah Detectives are asking for public assistance in relation to an attempted armed robbery on Friday, November 9.
The incident took place about 10.45pm along Mandurah Road on the footpath adjacent to the car park of the Subway store at the Meadow Springs Shopping Centre.
The victim was violently threatened to hand over his bag or phone.
The man refused to hand over his property and as a result was pushed and punched by the suspect.
The offender then fled the scene riding on a small trail bike, believed to be a 125cc.
The suspect was wearing black gloves, a black hooded jumper, black motor cross helmet and red camouflaged pants.

Police are renewing their warnings to the public to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings, particularly when walking during hours of darkness.
