A pair of deli workers have been rushed to hospital after being assaulted in Greenfields on Sunday afternoon.
Police allege around 4pm three men dressed in dark clothing entered the Murdoch Drive Continental Super Deli before being confronted by the two workers, who were then injured in an ensuing scuffle.
The area was cordoned off by a heavily police presence with both workers escorted to local hospitals for treatment.
State Operation Command Centre Acting Inspector Greg Hutchinson said investigations into the incident were ongoing.
“At this point in time detectives are conducting investigations, and we would ask for any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000,” he said.
