The Mandurah Museum are hosting a special Remembrance Day exhibition throughout the month of November, Remembering Them.
The 100th anniversary of the end of Australia’s bloodiest conflict is a time to remember the service and sacrifice of those who fought.
Every town in Australia was touched by the “War to end all Wars” and Mandurah was no exception.
The exhibition features the lives of some of those who served and the stories of the home front in Mandurah during the turbulent war years.
Remembering Them also focuses on the legend of Robert and Dorothy Dalrymple, who along with the schoolchildren of Mandurah, made remarkable contributions to helping those affected by war.
The exhibition will run at the Mandurah Museum until November 30 and entry is free.
The Museum is open 10am-4pm Tuesday to Friday and 11am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
