Mandurah residents dressed to impress for the Melbourne Cup earlier this week, and it seems not much has changed over the past decade.
Race-goers donned in their finest frocks were captured in the Mandurah Mail for the 2008 installment of the cup, which saw the Bart Cummings-trained Viewed gallop to the victory.
Other topics making the Mail 10 years ago included a star local Muay Thai fighter recovering from a car accident, a visit from the one and only Kevin Bloody Wilson and plenty of new arrivals in the babies section.
