Photos: Mandurah Remembrance Day coverage from recent years

With Remembrance Day set to take place across Australia this Sunday, the Mandurah Mail has collated photos from the event over recent years.

This year marks the centenary of the 1918 Armistice that ended World War I.

In post-war years, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month has marked a significant moment in Australia.

Services will be held across the Peel region, including at Mandurah, Dawesville and Pinjarra war memorials.

Residents are urged to attend to pay their respects to our service men and women, who fought and endured the horrors of war to ensure our freedom.

The best photos from recent years have been put together in the gallery above, ahead of what will be an important and emotional day.

Lest we forget.
