Heads up Mandurah travellers!
Bus services in Mandurah will be disrupted due to a work stoppage from 2-6pm on Tuesday.
The stoppage will be undertaken by a number of bus drivers who work for Transperth contractor, Transdev.
The industrial action has triggered a series of disruptions to a limited number of bus services operating out of the Rockingham, Mandurah, Fremantle, and Joondalup areas.
Bus services will be impacted at different times throughout the day, depending on where the services originate from.
The work stoppage is tipped to take four hours, however, authorities have advised it may take an additional two hours to get back on schedule.
The following routes in the Mandurah-Rockingham area may experience disruptions from 2-6pm:
Routes – 540, 541, 542, 543, 548, 549, 550, 551, 552, 553, 554, 555, 556, 557, 558, 559, 560, 561, 562, 563, 564, 565, 566, 567, 568, 584, 586, 587, 588, 589, 591, 592, 593, 594, 597, 598, 600, 604 and 605.
Due to the nature of the action being undertaken, Transperth cannot confirm which trips will run and which will be cancelled.
Transperth recommend seeking alternative arrangements if possible.
Services operated by Path Transit and Swan Transit remain unaffected.
