Fremantle and West Coast will go head to head at Mandurah’s Rushton Park in March 2019, as part of a pre-season series.
On March 10, the derby is set to thrill Peel fans as both teams have not played off in the region for some time.
Rushton Park was one of several locations announced in the AFL’s revamped pre-season schedule, which was officially released on Monday.
Locals will be particularly eager to see Mandurah footy product Nathan Wilson step out for the Dockers when the teams meet.
The former Mandurah Centrals junior has been a shining light, and seemed to be coming into his own more the 2018 season wore on.
Throughout the JLT Community Series tournament for 2019, neither club will have to leave their home state.
Fremantle will also host Collingwood in Joondalup the week prior, while the Eagles face Geelong in Leederville.
Bounce down in the Mandurah derby clash will be at 4.10pm and the game will be broadcast on Fox Footy.
