A “vicous” Greenfields domestic assault on Friday night resulted in two people being treated for injuries at Peel Health Campus.
Mandurah Detective Senior Sergeant Trevor Troy said police responded to a call alerting them of a male “bashing” a female on the street, about 9pm.
When police arrived at the scene, the offender was armed with a knife.

Senior Sergeant Troy said the man was tasered and taken into custody.
Two family members were taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Senior Sergeant Troy described the incident as a particularly “vicious” domestic violence assault.
The man has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault occasioning in bodily harm and is due to appear in court at a later date.
