Mandurah community members keen for thrills this Halloween still have plenty of opportunities to be spooked.
Here’s a list of just a few of the Halloween themed events around the city:
Meadow Springs Asylum
The Meadow Springs Asylum at 11 Carnoustie Gardens is back this year and prepared to scare for four evenings of terror.
Head along to the hair-raising event between 5pm and 10pm on October 28-31.
The cost is a gold coin donation to raise funds for Riding For The Disabled WA’s Murray/Mandurah Group.
This year, the Asylum will be selling spooky show bags and treats including creepy cupcakes, pumpkin soup, boo-tiful biscuits and a sausage sizzle on Halloween night.

Trunk ‘n’ Treat
Mandurah Ward will host their Trunk ‘n’ Treat event again this year.
Attendees are asked to decorate their car boots with something to enjoy or to spook.
There will be treats and tricks to hand out to children and ‘big kids’ too.
Head along to the Mandurah Chapel car park at 6 Valentine Drive between 5-7pm on Halloween night to take part.
The event requests no masks or super scary costumes.
Fearful feast
A number of restaurants around town will get into the spooky spirit this weekend and on Halloween night.
Murphy’s Irish Pub will host a ‘Rise of the Dead’ party on Saturday, October 27.
Kids aged 12 and under in creepy costumes will eat free with a full paying adult at Jetty’s Bar and Grill on Halloween night.
Ghosts and Ghouls in Greenfields
There will be a haunted Halloween display on Oakover Turn in Greenfields.
The event will be held on Halloween night and is suitable for little and big monsters.
Lake Valley Manor
Lake Valley Manor in Lakelands is back again for 2018.
The horrifying house at 101 Lake Valley Drive has plenty of eerie exhibits for little monsters from 5pm or more experienced spooks from 7pm.
Walk among the spiders and snap a picture on Halloween night in an electric chair, guillotine or coffin.
The daunting display comes to life with singing pumpkins and looming spirits.

Daunting Disco
The Falcon Scouts are again hosting their Halloween community disco on Saturday, October 27 for 0-15 year olds.
Festivities will begin at 3.45pm and run until 8pm at the Falcon Pavilion on Lynda street.
There will be a DJ, prizes and drinks for sale.
Tickets are $4 and are available at the door or at trybooking.com/XXCL.
