Saturday will be cloudy, with showers and a possible thunderstorm. Northwesterly winds of up to 25 km/h in the morning will increase to 35km/h by midday.
EVEREST OF BOWLS:
Day three action of the second annual Everest of Bowls gets underway on Saturday with some of the nation’s best lawn bowlers and a handful of international stars competing at the Dudley Park Bowling Club.
The tournament is the richest paying singles competition in the country with players competing for a shot at a whopping $50,000 cheque for first prize, while there are handsome rewards for second ($12,000) and third ($10,000).

LEGO CLUB:
With stormy weather forecast, how about an indoor activity that’s bound to please the whole family? Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre Lego Club are hosting their Lego Club this Saturday from 10.30am-12pm.
Playing with Lego is lots of fun, great for fostering creativity and encouraging problem solving.

90 per cent chance of showers in the morning with a possible thunderstorm. Mostly sunny afternoon. Westerly winds 35 to 45 km/h will tend southwesterly 25 to 40 km/h during the morning then become light during the evening.
MANDURAH PRO:
Excitement has been building for months ahead of this weekend’s inaugural Western Australian Pro Surf Series, the Mandurah Pro.
The World Surf League (WSL) sanctioned men’s and women’s Qualifying Series event has attracted surfers from six different nations – as well as a host of surfers from right across Australia to compete for a total prize pool of $15,000 and all import WSL QS ratings points.
Big surfing names including top seeded male surfer for the event, Jacob Wilcox, local wildcard Macklin Flynn and former Championship Tour surfer Claire Bevilacqua will be amongst the competitors carving up on the weekend. For more information, visit the Mandurah Mail website.
EXHIBITION OPENING:
The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre will officially open a new photography exhibition this Sunday in the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery and newly developed MPAC Foyer Galleries.
Emerging photographer Hamish Brown will debut his exhibition featuring incredible works from his underwater collection, accompanied by works from Ben Dennis and John Austin.
