Rat Pack from Vegas ready to shake, rattle and roll in Mandurah

Back by popular demand, lovable larrikins Robbie Howard, Johnny Edwards and Alfredo Miller are preparing their vocal chords for their Rat Pack from Vegas national tour.

Returning to the country for the sixth time, the Rat Pack will perform at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Sunday, October 21.

The trio master the sounds of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior in a spectacular live concert production that’s going to get Mandurah music lovers bopping and grooving.

The show takes audiences on a nostalgic trip back in time to the music of the most legendary group in entertainment history – a journey the group guarantee is a lot of fun.

“It doesn’t look like a regular show. It’s not tight – it’s just us up there having a lot of fun and we’re making it up as we go,” Robbie said

“There’s a lot of comedy in it and things for the audience to do and it’s just a good time – kids from eight all the way up to grandma who’s 85 have smiles on their faces.”

Coming off the back of a sell-out tour of the US and UK, the trio said they can’t wait to play to Australian audiences.

“Everytime we get asked to come back out we get excited because Aussie audiences really know how to have fun,” Johnny said.

“They let their guard down and they become a part of the show, a part of the party that they are invited to.”

“We bring everything from Vegas except the dice tables – the bar is open and we’re ready to go.”

With decades of performance and musical theatre experience between them, the cheeky performers still hold on to an age-old technique to get into character each night.

“We drink,” they said in unison and laughed.

“We have to check each other when we get dressed and most of the time we have to make sure our pants are on the right way.”

The trio will be joined by their six-piece swing group to deliver the sound and comedy that Sinatra, Martin and Davis made their own in the 60s and 70s.
