A Pinjarra restaurant has welcomed back free entertainment on Sunday afternoons, with the owner saying live music was “so important” for the region.

Redcliffe on the Murray will offer live music every Sunday afternoon, from 3 to 6pm, and occasionally on Saturday evenings.

Restaurant owner Nicole Young said she was excited to welcome back entertainment, after the break.

“We do have a couple coming from over east, but mostly a lot of local artists.”

Ms Young takes pride in offering live entertainment to the Pinjarra community.

“It’s so important for the area,” she said.

“For people to be able to head out with their family and listen to live music, where it’s not alcohol based, but more music and food based.”

Ms Young said Timothy Nelson & The Infidels will perform this Sunday who are “absolutely brilliant”.

“I book them whenever I can,” she said.

The summer entertainment will run until March or April, depending on the weather.
