Residents and visitors to Lakelands Town Centre could soon be required to consider timed parking restrictions after reports found traffic management needed to improve in the area.
As the centre and its surrounding neighbourhood continues to grow, a number of opportunities to improve parking options have been identified by the City of Mandurah.
Those opportunities were put before the city’s council at their September 11 meeting, which were unanimously supported.

If given the final tick-of-approval council’s official meeting on September 25, Lakelands residents could see 30 minute time restrictions on six car bays at the Seppings Parade centre.
The time restrictions would apply from 8am to 5pm on all days, including public holidays.
