Cantwell Park will ring out with the joyful sound of carols this December as Murray’s annual Christmas celebration returns to the banks of the Murray River for another enjoyable, festive season event.
The Murray Community Christmas Celebration will take place between 5-7.30pm on Wednesday, December 5.
According to Shire president Councillor David Bolt, the celebration is a highlight of the Shire’s event calendar and offers entertainment for all ages.
“With event preparations well underway, I strongly encourage residents from across the Murray district and beyond to save the date for this not-to-be missed festive season event,” Cr. Bolt said.
Stallholder applications are now open across a variety of categories.
The Shire is seeking food vendors and activity providers to help foster Christmas cheer.
Local vendors and artisans in particular are encouraged to apply.
The event attracts attendees from across the region, and according to Cr. Bolt is an opportune platform for business and talent exposure.
Volunteers are also sought, to assist with event set up and pack down as well as general hand responsibilities.
