Mandurah detectives have called on the public for information about an alleged assault in Silver Sands on Wednesday.
About 7.30pm, a 57-year-old man returned to his house to find two unknown men inside.
The men attacked the middle-aged man with golf clubs, before fleeing the home on foot.
The man sustained upper body and facial injuries and was conveyed to Peel Health Campus by St John Ambulance.
One man is described as between 18 and 25-years-old, about 170 to 180 centimetres tall, slim build, clean shaven. He was wearing a black hooded jumper at the time of the assault.
The second man is described as between 18 and 25-years-old, fair skinned, slim build and wearing a black hooded jumper.
