WA Police’s Gang Crime Squad have arrested two men after a search warrant on a Lakelands home, in which they claim officers found drugs, weapons and almost $36,000 in cash.
Inquiries led police to search a home on Malata Ridge on Friday.
Police say they found 195.4g of methylamphetamine, $35,980 in cash, 0.7g of cannabis, 48 cannabis seeds, steroids, drug paraphernalia, ammunition and knuckle dusters.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the Lakelands property and charged with:
- Possessing a prohibited drug with Intent to Sell or Supply
- Two counts of possessing prohibited drug (steroids)
- Possessing drug Paraphernalia
- Possess prohibited weapon (knuckle dusters)
- Having ready access to both weapons and illegal drugs
- Possess stolen or unlawfully obtained property (cash)
- Fail to ensure safe Keeping of ammunition
The man appeared at Perth Magistrates Court on September 15 and is due to reappear on September 28.
A 25-year-old man was also arrested and will appear at court at a later date on drug-related matters.
