Teams from regional and metropolitan areas clashed across seven games at the complex.
While the Storm fell short of fielding a side in the preliminary final games, president Jade Lund said it was a fantastic day for the club to hold such a significant event at their new home.
“To be able to welcome so many people to our new facilities and to host a statewide event like the preliminary finals is an honour,” she said.
“It’s certainly a proud day for our club.”
NRL WA operations manager Tony Crowe labelled it one of the most successful preliminary final days in recent memory.
“I’d say there was probably 2500 people here, which makes it one of the biggest preliminary finals we’ve ever had,” he said.
“It’s fantastic and a credit to the Storm for holding such a successful day.”
