Mandurah volunteers have asked the community to give generously for the annual Vinnies Street Appeal on Friday.
Vinnies volunteers will be collecting money from various locations around central Mandurah including the forum and train station, as well as Halls Head Shopping Centre and Bunnings Greenfields.
The funds raised will help with providing emergency relief to more than 2500 families and singles in Mandurah who are assisted each year.
It will also go to the free financial counselling service for community members overwhelmed with debt issues.
The Vinnies Support Centre on Davey St receives calls everyday from individuals and families seeking emergency assistance and helps to provide them with food, clothing, household items, utility bills and rental assistance as well as offering friendship and advocacy.
