Two teenagers receive injuries in Mandurah canals boat collision

Two teenagers have received injuries from a boat collision on the Mandurah canals last night.

The two victims were on board a vessel which was travelling north along Sticks Canal towards Mandurah about 6.50pm on Saturday.

Police allege the boat may have collided with another vessel in the area.

A 17-year-old boy received facial injuries and suspected spinal injuries after he thrown from the boat into the water. 

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

An 18-year-old man also received facial injuries and was conveyed to Peel Health Campus.

The vessel has been seized pending further investigation.

Police will continue to investigate the incident.
