A Mandurah man pleaded guilty to carrying two 10 centimetre knives which “had the handles removed so they could be thrown”, when he appeared in court on Tuesday.
Police prosecutor Mick Fallows told the court Peter Luke Bolton (38) had the knives in his back pocket when police stopped him near Silversands IGA about 10.30am, on March 2.
Sen. Const. Fallows said the handles had been removed so they could be thrown.
Lawyer Gregory Chin told the court Bolton was unaware it was illegal to carry the weapons.
