A man pleaded guilty to two charges in court on Friday after he “ripped” a Coodanup family’s CCTV camera from their outside wall and climbed on their roof in an alcohol-fuelled unprovoked attack.
Tyrone Shannon Ugle (21) pleaded guilty to trespassing without lawful excuse and damaging property when he appeared in Mandurah Magistrates court via video link from Casuarina Prison.
Police prosecutor Sean Discombe told the court Ugle trespassed on the property just after midnight on April 27, 2018.

Senior constable Discombe said Ugle walked out the back of the property and then the front before urinating in the garden.
He proceeded to damage the CCTV camera by ripping it from the eaves and gutter, he said.
One victim woke from the noise and exited their home, to see Ugle standing on their roof.
Senior constable Discombe said Ugle jumped over the fence and fled the scene.
Ugle’s lawyer said his client could not recall the incident because he was intoxicated.
Magistrate Anne Longden told the court Ugle was serving a prison sentence for similar offences and was able to apply for parole in November.
Ugle was given a two month prison sentence, to serve at the same time as his current sentence.
