Fashion designer Isla Munro enlisted a team of local businesses to promote the Mandurah creative scene.
After spending years designing abroad, the 22-year-old designer has come home to her roots, with her own clothing line.
While her loungewear collection may appear it should be worn within the confines of the home, Ms Munro wanted to showcase the clothing’s ability to go from “bed to brunch” in this latest shoot.

What’s more, in showcasing this, the designer knew she wanted to use local talent and businesses for everything from the location to the hair and make-up styling.
“I've lived in Mandurah almost my whole life – besides the times that I have been living overseas for work – but I really just wanted to create more opportunity in the arts community in Mandurah,” Ms Munro said.
“I've spent so long driving up and down from Perth when there are people doing it here, I just don't think the community is well-connected enough.
“And doing things like this definitely boosts that.”
Set in Sholl Street cafe Mataya, local photographer Matt Cook was on hand to capture the scenes, while videography was done by Lost x Found.
Willow Mae Designs provided the accessories, while Taylor Reid from Hey Good Looking Hair Studio, and Kelly Howes Makeup helped out with local models Imma Pramayasa and Britani Prestwood.
On top of that, balloons and flowers were taken care of by The Balloon Collection and Harley and Rose, respectively.
“I think the most exciting part of it was that most of the people involved had not been part of a fashion shoot before and it was a completely different world for everyone,” Ms Munro said.
“Honestly, I think that shined through in the photos was that this shoot was so happy.
“I definitely made sure going into it that we approached it as a smiley happy shoot rather than a normal quote-unquote fashion shoot that's very posed and serious.
“This is really one of the first shoots that I've done that has the girls smiling and obviously having the dogs in it, really added to that aspect of it as well.
“If anything, just how excited everyone was to be there, really shined through in the photos.”
