What’s better than ice-cream? Free ice-cream.
To celebrate World Ice-Cream Day soft serve company Brullen is giving away free ice-cream at selected distributors this Sunday.
The good news for local ice-cream fans, is that one of those distributors is right here in Mandurah.
Hog’s Express in the Mandurah Forum will be giving away free soft serve from 12-2pm.
Visitors to the stores are encouraged to claim their free soft serve and share it on social media with the hashtag #brullenicecream.
At no cost, there really is no better excuse to indulge in the timeless treat.
“Soft serve has always brought a smile to people’s faces, but today it can also offer a unique dining experience with different textures, colours and bold flavour combinations,” Brullen founder (and Married at First Sight participant) Justin Fischer said.
“Brullen machines are engineered to keep up with these changing food trends and can be used with coconut whip soft serve, acai soft serve, custard, yoghurt and anything else the user desires.
“The possibilities are endless.”
World Ice cream Day began in the United States and has been celebrated on the third Sunday of July since 1984.
And it really is a wonder why the day hasn’t caught on in Australia sooner.
Australians are the third largest consumers of ice cream globally, consuming on average 18 litres per year.
