A group of Mandurah residents are seeking interest in launching a community activity for seniors, connecting them to the community and the outdoors.
Cycling Without Age is run by volunteers who take seniors on specially built trishaw bikes making them feel part of society.
Cycling Without Age founder Dorthe Pedersen will visit Mandurah during her Australian tour on June 28, at Frasers Landing Community Centre, from 11am to 12.30pm.

Ms Pederson will talk with Mandurah affiliate John Wass, about the benefits of bringing the organisation to the Mandurah community.
Three trishaws are now in Perth, operating in Bull Creek, Melville and Sorrento and Cottesloe.
The organisation is an international not-for-profit operating in 37 countries and follows a principal that life does not end at a given age.
With 1500 trishaws worldwide and over 50,000 elderly people enjoying rides, the program encourages aging in a positive context, using cycling as a means to bridge generations.
Ms Pederson has inspired and facilitated initiatives in education, health promotion and aged care through collaborative impact.
With 20 years’ experience in both public and private sector organisations, she has worked internationally with community and civil society development.
