Mandurah artists have the chance to exhibit their work to a wider audience courtesy of an initiative from The Cumquat Tree.
The business, which is based in the Mandurah Forum, is inviting local artists to exhibit and sell their work at the store and online.
The Cumquat Tree owner Joanne Thomas said it was a chance for the Mandurah business to support local talent.
“We wanted to find a way to connect the local community with the beautiful homewares we have in store,” she said.
“Each featured artist will be carefully selected to blend perfectly with our products, enabling our customers to get an impression of how they can style their own home with the original artwork they take home with them.”
Secret Harbour’s Candice Green-Booth and Natasja Reicheld from Madora Bay will both have their work exhibited.
Candice has dedicated the past three years to charity projects, founding The Little Trunks Project in the process – a not-for-profit organisation that donates profits to the Game Rangers International’s Elephant Orphanage Project.
Natasja’s illustration style linear work is right on trend both in fashion and interior design, with the Madora Bay artist winning awards for her graphic art, including the 2015 METAmorphosis Exhibition Award.
